Blessed Mother Marianne

Maria Anna Barbara Koob (1838-1918) was born in Germany, moved to the United States at an early age, entered the convent in New York, and traveled to Molokai to help the lepers there. When she got there she took over when Blessed Damien passed away. Amazingly she did not catch the disease. She is also the first person beatified by Pope Benedict XVI.

♫ "Faithful to God's loving plan, Blessed Mother Marianne." ♫

The evening Mass for Blessed Mother Marianne at the Co-Cathedral was really nice! Please ask me about it when you see me.

I hope you all feel better.
