Wow, I just remembered that it's St. Therese's birthday today! :-D
It's sometimes easy to remember 'cause there's a little story behind her having a birthday on January 2nd, and that she wished it was on the 1st.
She once wished it was a day earlier because the day kids who were at a certain age in her parish (or something like that) were allowed to prepare for their first communion, on the 1st of January. She would be at the right age of admittance if only it was a day earlier! Poor Therese had to wait another year for her first communion like the rest. :-(
