Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!

Thank you Jesus for everything,
For every person, creature, and blessing,
Without You and them, my life would be so hollow,
And that’s why I’m saying mahalo.

Mahalo for my parents,
Who try to make my life straight not bent,
Mahalo for my siblings,
Without them, life would be so boring. :-P

Mahalo for my friends,
Whose friendship would never end,
Mahalo for my pets,
Who are so cute and colorful I bet.

Mahalo for the birds that sweetly sing,
And the comfort that cats and dogs bring,
Mahalo for every creature great and small,
From the tiniest ant to the giraffe so tall.

Mahalo for the flowers from roses to daises,
From colorful carnations to little white lilies,
Mahalo for plant life, whose names can be a disguise,
Especially for Hawaii ’s favorite, the bird of paradise.

Mahalo for the ocean so blue,
That fish swim in like there are always things to do,
Mahalo for the beach where it’s so fun to play,
Otherwise there would be no such thing beach day. :-(

Mahalo for the beautiful sky above,
Which is a sign of Your wonderful love,
Mahalo for the moon and the stars at night,
And the sun that gives us much light.

Mahalo for delicious food,
Which cheers us up when we’re in the mood,
From lumpia to grilled steak,
And from chocolate to pineapple cake.

But most of all, I thank you for you,
For your birth, death, resurrection too,
Mahalo for being my best Friend,
Whose love for me would never end.

Thank you Jesus for everything,
For every person, creature, and blessing,
Without You and them, my life would be so hollow,
And that’s why I’m saying mahalo.

Happy Mother's Day!!

Dear Jesus, please bless each mother,
So that all may treat You as their Brother,
Bless all mothers and mothers to be,
Happy Mothers’ Day to our Mother Mary.

Thank You for mothers, for their great love,
Which are sent from You above,
Bless all mothers so that they serve and love You more,
And so that they may praise you evermore.

Thank You for Mary, who loves us so,
And who gave birth to You we know,
Help all mothers to be patient and kind,
So that Your great joy to them they may find.

Dear Jesus, please bless each mother,
So that all may treat You as their Brother,
Bless all mothers and mothers to be,

Feast day of St. Therese!

Sorry this wasn't posted right away. I couldn't find anything else to post for this day. I'm sure that several of you already know the story of St. Therese so I'm not going to type a report about her life. Anyway, I wrote this prayer poem this morning. I wish that I could have added more paragraphs, but there wasn't anything else I could think of. Oh well.
Enjoy and Happy Feast day of St. Therese!!! :-D

"I will let down a shower of roses."
-St. Therese

Dear Saint Therese, whose love for Him is so true,
Teach us to love Him as you did too.
You performed the little way without a fuss,
Saint Therese the Little Flower please pray for us!

Send roses to those who need comfort we pray,
That they may feel God’s everlasting love today.
Send roses to those who need courage too,
That they may be given strength anew.

Send roses to the ones who are afraid,
So that Christ’s peace in their hearts would be made.
Send roses to children that they may hear Christ’s voice,
And respond to Him with the perfect choice.

Send roses who need perseverance in their life,
Especially to those who are in great strife.
Send roses to people who need Christ most of all,
That they may come back to Him and never again fall.

Dear Saint Therese, whose love for Him is so true,
Teach us to love Him as you did too.
You performed the little way without a fuss,
Saint Therese the Little Flower please pray for us!

Happy Fathers Day!

~The sight of Jesus,

was St. Joseph's sole delight.~

Prayer for Father's Day to St. Joseph

Dear St. Joseph, please help all fathers,
To be true to mothers, sons, and daughters,
You loved Jesus and took the task without a fuss,
Dear St. Joseph, please pray for us!

Please help to support their families like you did to Jesus and Mary,
Help with their burdens, sufferings, and sacrifices like you did carry,
Help them to be strong in times difficult and hard,
And help them to finally acheive their award.

Please help all fathers who sacrifice for their family,
Bring hope, peace and love to them happily,
Give rest to the fathers who work day and night,
Just as Jesus was your sole delight.

Bless all fathers who cook or not it would seem,
And also the fathers that treat their family to icecream!
Also bless the ones who families are far away,
Please pray for them thoughout this day.

And please pray for the ones who went to Heaven already,
Welcome them there with their hearts sincere and steady,
Please say hello, and tell them that we pray for them today,
And please tell them Happy Fathers Day!

Dear St. Joseph, please help all fathers,
To be true to mothers, sons, and daughters,
You loved Jesus and took the task without a fuss,
Dear St. Joseph please pray for us!

Mary Poem

Since the month of May is dedicated to Our Lady, I decided to post a Marian poem that I made today.
BTW, does anyone know when the crowning of Mary is? Or was?

Mary

Mary, the mother of God endured many things,
Joys, love, sorrows, and sufferings,
Her love for her Son and us is more than enough,
Oh Blessed Virgin, please pray for us!

When was chosen to be the mother of God,
Can you imagine what road she had to trod?

And when she gave birth to Jesus, God’s only Son,
Can you imagine her great elation?

When she was told of the suffering she was to endure,
Do you think she was worried or unsure?

And when she found her Son in the temple preaching,
Can you imagine her relief after searching?

When her Son turned wine from water,
Can you imagine the thankfulness that filled her?

And when she heard her Son’s teachings,
Can you imagine her joyous feelings?

When she saw Him performing miracles,
Don’t you think she was truly grateful?

And when He took the suffering that He did not deserve to take,
Can you imagine His mother’s terrible ache?

When He carried the cross with strength He could barely contain,
Can you imagine her unspeakable pain?

And when she saw the love on the cross He did perform,
Can you imagine how her heart was torn?

And when watched her Son die on the cross,
Can you imagine how she suffered that loss?

When she heard that her Son from the dead did rise,
Can you imagine her great surprise?

Can you?

Mary, the mother of God endured many things,
Joys, love, sorrows, and sufferings,
Her love for her Son and us is more than enough,
Oh Blessed Virgin, please pray for us!

Oh come Holy Spirit!

As you probably know, this blog is new. Actually, I accidentally made this blog last night. I guess Jesus wanted me to make a blog. :-) Anyway, this poem popped into my head and I've decided to make it my "theme blog poem" that I would post every first of May.

Oh come Holy Spirit!
Enter our hearts and light our way,
Give us the strength and courage we need,
For all of us today.

Your word is like a magnet,
That would never keep us away,
“Oh come Holy Spirit!”
From each of our mouths we pray.

May Poem

May

Today is first day of May,
Oh come Holy Spirit,
Show and light our way,
For each one of us today.

The crowning of Mary is soon,
Then flowers and blossoms would bloom,
As white as snow would be her gown,
And with many jewels would be her crown.

Today is first day of May,
Oh come Holy Spirit,
Show and light our way,
For each one of us today.
